Yoga retreat Monchique Portugal

Join us in the beautiful Algarve in March to practice Asana, breathwork and meditation. Situated on the Monte Picota, Bodhi Bahvan is a quiet place in the middle of the forest facing down the little village of Monchique.
Prices are per person and include the whole week program with sessions, meditation, breathwork, coaching, 1:1, food, Yoga, silence and cold water therapy.
March is the spring opening month in the Algarve.
Quiet and beautiful double room immerse in the natural environment of Bodhi Bahvan. Confortable beds and shared bathroom make this room ideal for a couple or friends who want to dig into themselves and explore Asana, Pranayama and Breathwork.

How to get to Bodhi Bhavan

You can get to Monchique in three different ways:
1- by landing at Faro airport and there rent a car (what most people do). Travel duration is 1h.
2- By landing at Lisbon airport and rent a car. Travel duration is 2h 42 min.
3- By landing at Sevilla airport and rent a car. Travel duration is 3h.
Either from Spain or Portugal, rental cars companies are very cheap.
What to bring

November in Portugal is yet a good month where the sun is warm during the day (between 10am and 19pm). During morning times (between 6am and 10am) the air is fresh and wearing a jumper and a pair of socks would set you comfortable.
During evening time and night the temperature drop a little, around 7 to 10 degrees with no wind. Inside and outside we have fire places and heating system.
Retreat program

The retreat program is organized between 6am and 9pm.
We start with a cold water meditation at 6am (duration time is up to your resistance). After that we prepare for the morning yoga session which starts at 7:30am till about 9:30/10am around breakfast time (all together). Then we start workshops and/or hiking tours and/or bike tours and/or free time till lunch at about 12/12:30am(all together).
After lunch there is resting time and then around 14:30/15:00 we do the afternoon yoga/breathwork session till dinner time at 19:00 (all together). After dinner we gather together for mantra and sharing moments/reflection. At 21:00 we start the silence session which last till the next day at the start of the morning Yoga session at 7:30am.

If you have a specific request with whom you would like to share your room with, please feel free to contact us after the purchasing. Otherwise we will go with a mix gender as we treat everybody equally.
